Usage
of CVT
In
this modern age of advanced electronics and high
telecommunication, high-tech machines like computers, EPABX, fax machines, plotters is a common sight
at workplaces. Considering the cost of these sophisticated machines, one cannot take a risk, of
subjecting them to wide voltage variations and surges, experienced in our country. So it becomes
imperative to have a constant voltage transformer, to protect your equipment, against voltage
fluctuations.
Working
Principle of a CVT
CVT
uses the principle of Ferro-resonance, in which, output winding is
resonated with the help of select value of high stability capacitors. This
resonating circuit ,gives rise to saturation of the core, which prevents variation in the
output, against changes in the input voltage.
CVT's
advantages over Servo Stabilizer
1)
CVT's response to input variations is much faster than ,that of
servo stabilizer. Around 10msec.
2) CVT does not pass on the surges to the output side
which are present on the input side.
3) CVT has no moving parts at all, thus bringing
maintenance cost almost zero.
4) CVT combines all the features of an isolation
transformer, surge suppressor & RFI-EMI Filter, thus
bringing down the
cost.
5) CVT has inbuilt instantaneous short circuit protection.
6) CVT us highly reliable.

MICROLINE
has a definite edge
1) It
gives you a perfect 1% regulation in the output for input
variation from 170V to 270V as against
180v to 260v claimed by competitors.
2) It can withstand even up to 300v input voltage for small
duration with damaging your equipment.
3) Sinusoidal wave is assured at the output.
4) Almost silent operation.
5) The output starts folding back beyond 270V of input supply, thus protecting your device against
high voltage.
6) It is manufactured under strict quality control and quality
assurance with best brands of copper.
Even the bought out items, like
capacitors are of the best quality i.e. of ASIAN.
Note :
1)
Operating frequency is 50Hz.
2) Load regulations is + 2%.
3) CVT's above 1000 VA can be made against confirmed order.
4) Microline can operate safely up to 50oC ambient
temperature.
