WHY "SAFE VOLT"?
Due to extreme fluctuations of mains voltage, TV or fridge is
damaged unless "SAFE VOLT" is used "SAFE
VOLT" will automatically cut off dangerous (very high or
low) supply. As soon as the safe voltage returns, "SAFE
VOLT" will automatically restart the supply.
WHY IS "SAFE VOLT" BETTER THAN VOLTAGE STABILIZER?
Take example of your colour TV. It has in-built stabilized
voltage (SMPS) to work from 160 to 270 v ac. The colour TV needs
no external voltage stabilizer. But what happens when the voltage
goes beyond 270 v? When the neutral floats (breaks) the supply
may go as high as 340 v. ac. You must have heard, that many TV
sets and fridges burn all together in one colony. But "SAFE
VOLT" can instantly cut of at 270 v. and save your TV. What
is more "SAFE VOLT" can withstand 415 v. When you turn
on power to it "SAFE VOLT" flashes light and computes
safety voltage and only then, allows turn on/ of TV. At Low
voltage, SMPS of TV draws excessive current ,so low volt cut off
is provided.
For new fridges the compressor works O.K. from 170 v to 270 v
ac. and external voltage stabilizer is not needed. But as
explained above "SAFE VOLT" is necessary. Any expert
will tell you that there should be 3 min delay every time when
fridge is restarted. Only "SAFE VOLT" will provide
this necessary delay, and not the voltage stabilizer. Your
fridge is working all the time, unattended. Low voltage and
frequent power failure will damage your fridge, unless
"SAFE VOLT" is used.
With "SAFE VOLT" you have ample power rating. Most of
the stabilizers on market today are Insufficiently rated & likely to fail.
